A: You need to run the version of Easy Writer that matches your version of Easy Mail. The Windows 3.1 version of Easy Mail will run in Windows 95/98/00/NT/ME/XP/Vista, but if you are going to do that, you need to use the Windows 3.1 version of Easy Writer!"

Q: Do you have a shareware version of Easy Mail that works on a Mac? I downloaded the on-line version and it would not run.
A: Sorry. Easy Mail works only with Windows or NT.

Q: I loaded 73 names and addresses into the address list to test Easy Mail. Is any data lost when I register the program? I mean, will I have to retype all this info again into the new registered program?
A: No.

If you use the registration key to change your evaluation copy into a registered copy, nothing else is changed.
If you install another version, it will not disturb your address lists.

Q: I downloaded and installed Easy Mail today, but it tells me that I have used it since 12-18-97, 283 days, and it won't run because the evaluation period has expired. Can you help?
A: Someone must have downloaded and run Easy Mail on your machine last December. Send a message to: and ask for Renew.Exe. This is a little program we can attach to an email message. When run, it resets your Easy Mail evaluation period.

Q: I am a registered user of Easy Mail and just downloaded a file EZM32V21. How do I install it without losing my registration, layouts, and address lists?
A: When you install any version of Easy Mail, it recognizes your registered status. When installing an upgrade, you may lose some changes in envelope or label layouts. If so, you will have to make those settings again. Your address lists will not be affected.

Q: How do I tell if I have the latest version of Easy Mail? Do I have the latest version? If not, how do I upgrade?
A: The version number is shown in the About box accessed from the Help menu.

You may download and install the latest version whenever you like. Install the new version to the same destination as your current copy. It will recognize your registered status, and will make no changes to your address book files.
